My OCD shows through in the Baker's Dozen posts

I've noticed that when numbering a list some people will use a number followed by a period, such as 2., while others will use a number followed by a parenthesis, such as 2)...Now I have no preference of one over the other but my OCD flares up terribly when there's a Baker's Dozen list that has a mix of the two. For example, you may see a list numbered such as:

1.
2.
3)
4.
5)
6)
7.

Whenever I'm adding I always find myself and going and changing whichever has the least entries to match the format of the others. Has anyone else noticed this and am I the only one who gets troubled by it?
