Mine-

1. Avengers Endgame-9.2/10(good 1st hour, weak Middle, Greatest last 45 Mins in CBM history)
2. Joker-9/10-(Phoenix was astonishing, IMO deserves an Oscar)
3. In The Shadow of The Moon-9/10(Netflix Serial Killer time travel Thriller, very good, Great Ending)
4. Alita:Battle Angel-9/10(IMO easily the most under rated movie of 2019, This was incredible)
5. Polar-8/10(Netflix action movie-Just FUN nothing more)
6. John Wick Parabellum-8/10(Hated The Ending, But very good overall)
7. Us-8/10(Incredible first Hour, But then absolutely falls apart, I've never seen a movie that gives Literally NO ANSWERS like this and truly doesnt even try to make sense)
8. It Chapter 2-7.5/10(I feel the director tried to hard to make it a GOOD, meaningful movie, instead of just making a horror movie)
9. Spider-Man Far From Home-8/10(fun)
10. Glass-7/10(Disappointing, decent movie though until the last 15 mins which IMO was literally one of the worst endings of all time, I wanted to LOVE this movie, Unbreakable is one of my all time favorite films, Split was my favorite movie of 2017, Glass was my most anticipated movie of 2019.

I also really enjoyed both The Child's Play remake and Hellboy reboot...I had FUN with both of them

it's felt in some ways like a disappointing year, in that few films have really come along & blind-sided me with their greatness the way madeline's madeline or the rider or 8th grade did last year. not to say i haven't seen lots of things i've liked & loved, but they were mostly things i knew were coming & expected to like. there haven't been that many pleasant, daring surprises.

1 - tigers are not afraid 4.5/5 - gritty sad story about mexican kids trying to survive drug cartels mixed with del toro style fantasy. this is the big exception to my comment about nothing blind-siding me. really daring, has elements you'll recognize but still unlike anything else you'll likely see this year.
2 - the lighthouse 4.5
3 - climax 5
4 - apollo 11 5
5 - avengers endgame 5
6 - once upon a time in hollywood 4.5
7 - holiday 4.5
8 - the peanut butter falcon 4
9 - one cut of the dead 4
10 - midsommar

11 - rolling thunder revuew a bob dylan story 4.5
12 - under the silver lake 4
13 - dragged across concrete 4
14 - tell me who i am 4
15 - el camino 4
16 - wrestle 4
17 - high life 4
18 - relaxer 4
19 - spider-man: far from home 4
20 - the forest of love 3.5
