shareDo the teams play it too safe with defense later in the week?
Maybe they want to save their energy for games they feel might have greater overall importance such as the more highly-rated(?) weekend games.

Defenses tend to be ahead of the offenses early in the season.
Especially these days, now that teams hold their starters out til the regular season. Also, the Bears and Packers are both pretty solid defensive teams.
