Anyone seen The Changeling (1980)?
I always thought the movie cover looked cool at video stores as a kid, so I bought it on Blu-Ray on eBay.

shareSo the senator should just ruin his own life because of what someone else did? He was an orphan who got the chance at a better life. I could sympathize with him, not the ghost. I thought he was irrational even for a movie ghost. He was just a child, not a deranged serial killer.
shareI think by making the Senator play he was ensuring that the father's spirit would never rest in peace. Meanwhile, Joseph can now rest in peace.
shareWell, that's kinda selfish. Bearing a grudge like that won't get you into heaven! How about accepting that he wasn't gonna grow old anyway and just move on? Doesn't the senator deserve to live and rest in peace? Give him a break, some crazy guy just told him his adoptive father killed his own son. Maybe they should do a sequel about his ghost getting all pissed off and scaring the shit out of innocent people and killing them off?
