How come people don't post in the individual pages?

I've attempted to start conversations on several individual pages here and noticed that about 99% of the board activity seems to take place in this general section.

I'm just trying to get a general idea of why this is. Are people just apprehensive about branching out to the individual pages? Do those pages perhaps feel a bit like mausoleums because of the archived posts in them?

Just curious since this site has individual pages like IMDB and that was the most popular feature on that site.
