Are those movies on your list even released yet?
Most of the movies that win (or are nominated ) are released in December. Often sometimes just released in a few cities around Christmas, so they can qualify for that year's awards. That is why, when the nominations are announced, most people in most markets have still not seen the movies yet. they might not even be out yet in wide release..
So following that pattern, you can't really predict in March what the nominees will be because movies released int he first 3 months of the year are rarely nominees.
