Pretty cool

I also saw the post on IMDB about this site. Big congrats to jim for getting it up and running. I agree that there are some things that could be improved, but I think this is the best alternative we have right now. Most of the other replacements I've seen are just regular "forums" - they don't have a separate page for each movie (the one exception to this is TMDB).

Also really like that a lot of the old posts from IMDB are archived here (hope they don't run into legal issues...but knowing Amazon/IMDB I'm not sure).

Wish there were more people here, but good job scraping all of those posts man. If this site becomes more active it could really take off. You've got my support +1.

@krillin_09: OP here. I think the site just started today (based on the IMDB post here: http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000001/thread/266007070 from earlier today)

Haven't seen any other posts on IMDB about this site (which is surprising given that all of the other competitors popping up have been spamming IMDB non-stop...one of the things I emailed the founder is to actually create more posts on IMDB promoting this site haha)

Oh didn't know they just started today. Didn't even see anything on the IMDB boards about it. I literally just saw the post on IMDBv2 and came here. Honestly this site is loads better, but just needs more users. Though it's the first day, so I'll cut them some slack ;p

Hey guys, Jim (founder) here. You're right, we just started today! Thanks for all the comments. I'm currently working hard on archiving / backing up as many posts from IMDB as I can before they shut down. After that, I'll start addressing some of the things you guys sent me.

This looks good. I saw it advertised on Movie Forum which pretty boring so far. I much prefer a site where we can discuss individual movies and actors. I'll be checking this out regularly.

I think this site has been around for a long time, it was shut down then put back up again, at least that's the skuttlebutt
