Blu-Ray is a waste of money

I can't tell someone how to spend their money. But, I can't see spending more money than I have to. So, what you don't get the extras
On Blu-Ray. Most of the time the extras are just fluff not even worth watching. I can't see the difference in Blu-Ray over DVD anyway.
So, I will save my money for other things.

The first thing you should use that extra money for is a trip to the optometrist to get some glasses.

This time infinity. It's like the difference between Sepia Kansas and Technicolor Oz. Hell, even TV in HD doesn't look as good as the same thing on Blu-ray.

You have got that right.

Well, I can. Blu-ray allows movies to look like movies while DVD is too soft for film grain and the overall cinematic feel. Also, since I live in Europe, a "PAL" -area, Blu-ray lets me watch movies without the 25/24 speed-up.

That's fine. It is your money and your choice.

That's too bad; I can see and hear the difference. Anyway you act like BDs cost twice as much as DVDs; in reality they are usually only a few bucks more, and sometimes are actually cheaper.

Should've gone to Specsavers.

It looks a bit sweaty in there so you may need to apply baby powder Zapp Brannigan
