Bill Maher show without pandering audience is actually watchable

I actually watched this without gagging. If you hadn’t posted the link I would not have known about this interview due to my absolute dislike of Bill Maher. Congressman Dan Crenshaw held his own and respectfully countered Maher on all points including the timeline.
shareI hate his show's format and his previous one too. He always interrupts and injects something that cues the applause sign to turn on and prevents the guest from getting to their conclusion.
Without his pandering audience, he can't stand on his own. He was bombarded with facts, and Maher had to "shift gears", because he got his ass handed to him.
Maher's all right. At least he's an independent thinker somewhat. I understand why people don't like him, though.
