My take on Star Wars

For me Star Wars ends at Return of the Jedi. George Lucas having the final say. Everything after Return of the Jedi is just completely milking the franchise. However, everything in between, I will accept. I am incredibly excited for the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, and I even accept Rogue One, even though there's nothing really special about it. There's so much Star Wars Legends material that can be made into stories to fill in the gaps from the absolute beginning with books, novels etc. until Return of the Jedi. There's massive opportunities, however the Disney shows after Return of the Jedi, like the Mandalorian (which I am not a fan of) are null and void in my book. I cannot think of a better way to end a franchise than for the most evil of evil to die (Emperor Palpatine) and for the heroes to triumph (Luke, Leia and Han). I honor George Lucas by him having the final say with Return of the Jedi for my Star Wars entertainment.

Anyone reading this don't have to agree. That's fine. I'm just putting it out there.

I pretty much feel the exact same way. ROTJ is the definitive ending of the series for me as well.
