I should say that I really need to see New Nightmare again - it could move up in my rankings. It's just that each time I see it, I tend to move it down a bit, but I do need to see it with fresh eyes.

I rewatched Freddy's Dead last night, and I'd actually move it up, probably tied with Freddy's Revenge. Definitely enjoyed it more than The Dream Master, and always enjoyed it more than The Dream Child, but am still surprised it's tied at three.

Besides Nightmare on Elm Street 1, my personal favorite Elm Street movies are

Freddy's Revenge - my parents recorded it off of HBO back then during the mid 1980s. then id watch it many times on a VHS recording tape.

I'm gonna pretend I never saw the remake lol. I'm not even a remake hater, but that movie is in my bottom three movies of all time of any genre lol

FvJ would fall around the top four spot somewhere. The end fight was great and that's what I went to see 🙂
