Multiple versions of characters

Ten years ago the mere hint of three big screen versions of Batman at the same time would I'm sure have seen riotous laughter in the WB boardroom, and yet we've recently had a situation with Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, and Robert Pattinson playing the role concurrently.

Which got me thinking... How many other times have there been multiple big screen versions of a character running around at the same time? It happened twice with Bond (with the non-canon movies Casino Royale (1967) and Never Say Never Again). I can't think of any others (I'm not talking public domain characters, such as Sherlock Holmes, Dracula). And those Bond movies were from rival companies, whereas all three Batman characterisations were under WB/DC.

Have there been other instances of more than one actor being 'the current' [insert name of character]?

The best I can come up with is Bumblebee in the "Transformers" films. He appeared in "Transformers 1-5" and the spinoff "Bumblebee". He appears in "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" which is somewhat connected to the "Bumblebee" film, but shares no connection to the Michael Bay films.
