Two music videos from the 80s

-- A Bob Seger video that was cut to look as if it was supporting a movie. This rules out Breakdown (Beverly Hills Cop II) and Old Time Rock and Roll (Risky Business). I remember it had shots of a car chase, and a man and a woman in a restaurant, with the woman dumping the man's plate in his lap because he was ogling another woman. The VJ specifically said "Gotcha! That's not from a movie; it's just supposed to look like it," or words to that effect.

-- A heavy metal video, that I only saw once, because this was when metal got very little play on MTV. The scenario is a family in a fascist society; everyone wears communist-style uniforms. Mom, dad, and early-teen daughter are stalwart party members. Beautiful late-teen daughter is not. She's in her room, rocking out to (presumably) the same song begin played. The other three storm in, and the band members come to her rescue and take her away to heavy-metal paradise.

I believe the Bob Seger video is American Storm.

the HM video may be by a glam metal band, could it be Twisted sister - Leader of the pack? It shows a girl in her room

1. American Storm -- right on! Thank you!

2. Definitely not Leader of the Pack, and not anything by Twisted Sister. Thanks, though.
