So they have Chandler sacrifice himself and give him a major send off and bring back almost all the lost souls. Surprised they couldn't get Rhona Mitra back. Then they pull a Rick Grimes on us and pull him out of the water. Not surprised but kind of fell flat for what turned out to be a hell of an episode.

They probably killed him in the original script, but studio executives wanted him alive.
