Very much so. The show has season long arcs and each episode is a chapter in an overall story. Very little filler and a lot of action.

yup - ive just watched season 4 in 3 evenings!

It is loaded with cringy parts but is an engaging story. There is always at least one worthless subplot and the acting is a mixed bag of great to poor. But it does some thing very well. The cat/mouse military action is often high quality. Watch the first two season. After that, you might make it to the end on inertia (I did not. I never watched the final 3 episodes)

Not at all. Couldn't endure it more than 5 episodes. Total boredom.

Absolutely. There are some moments when it can get confusing but you'll enjoy it.
One word of warning: It did lose a lot of steam in the last season.
