Elisha Cuthbert and Emile Hirsch had zero chemistry.
Agree or disagree?
shareDisagree mate
She played a great role, sort of in three phases. Her changes were due to the life situations of the character 1.) Nobody knows her past 2.) Her boyfriend knows her past and she's going back into it 3.) Her boyfriend knows her past and she has a new life now.
He portrayed the correct level of naivete for who he was in the movie. He was nervous and going through love for the first time. The combination was what it should be. The chemistry was desire + awkwardness that was somehow natural. I thought the movie and the acting delivered. It's not your everyday romcom. Some of it was really subpar but the romance and how it was played was spot on IMO.
Absolutely agree, though Elisha Cuthbert almost sells it for the both of them.
They have a problem of establishing Emile Hirsch as someone of interest to her thought, and that's too bad.
Yeah, well that's true of most couples I know in real life.
shareuhm obvi
Emile Hirsch looks like an Orc.. and not in a good way.
What would the good way be?
shareThrall from Warcraft is kinda rugged handsome.
but like an ordinary grunt or peon Orc is unappealing af
I haven't played Warcraft in years (as in, "Warcraft is an RTS game, not an MMORPG," years), so I had to look up Thrall. While the animators made him look amicable enough for an orc, ehhh...he's not really doin' it for me; but to each his own.
sharedisagree , I am pretty sure she liked him cuz he was kind of simple, innocent and shy , the opposite of the arrogant / loud mouth guys she would meet in her line of work , and he is rather cute not ugly like his high school two best friends for example.
shareI REALLY LIKE EMILE HIRSCH AND ENJOY HIS ACTING...HE SEEMS INCAPABLE OF CREATING "CHEMISTRY" WITH ANY FEMALE CO STAR THOUGH.
shareAgreed. The entire thing felt forced and not natural. See Jim & Michelle from American Pie to see a more convincing relationship.
