She should've learned to keep her mouth shut

Especially at the beginning of her career. No matter which side you're on, keep politics out of it! Now her acting career could be over before it started.

She did us all a favour by showing us her true colours, and especially by causing the third of those terrible woke fake-Scream films to be canned.

She made a choice but I think she might come to regret it.

she just dropped another movie Abigail, just finished filming another The Collaboration, soon to be filming another The One, and is in beginning stages to produce her own in the future

cope more, delusional cancel communist
maybe time to pray to your sky god to smite her, instead, in your After Life (TM)?

reply

She was cancelled in November 2023

Abigail was shot before her cancellation. And she was supporting I think. And it flopped. Budget - $28 million. Box-office - $15 millions so far.

She was cast in The Collaboration in September 2022. Filming started in 2022. That movie was finished on a shelf for 2 years. Again small movie that no one will see.

Don't know about The One. Could be in development for years too. She could be cast there year ago too. Nicholas Hoult is busy doing Superman. Won't be surprised if he drops out.

I don't see any NEW projects for her. After she was cancelled. Like I guess she can book some low budget crap. But her career in BIG movies is probably gone.

i dont argue with box office nerds. the IQ threshold barrier to entry is too low. none of you understand business

otherwise, now that the goal post has been moved from "career" to "career in 'BIG' movies (whatever that is - apparently not even a $170 million theatrical run)":

for any of those other supposed points to mean anything, you'd have to prove she had been somehow destined to continue to "make BIG movies" (however stupid that is even to type), and that her apparently inevitable future of making "BIG movies" was specifically derailed by discontinuation of this single franchise - which she'd only ever been contracted to do 2 movies of in the first place - and is now "probably" gone.

since 1) it can't be proven or disproven 2) we're already into "probably's" 3) it would significantly likely force me to argue what a "BIG" movies is with a boxoffice business illiterate, and 4) I couldn't care less either way, as she has a continued career even one significantly better than many in that business already, whether you or anyone else likes it or not - and no matter how you force to cope using arbitrary definitions, bad reasoning, and misused, misunderstood data,

nah, i'll just let this be. even my own time wasting tendencies have limits

maybe i'll go try to watch Keep Breathing again, out of a smug sense of contentment with - and celebration of - her continued successful career. or... i could just keep it idly running on Netflix to give it another view. dunno. the sky's the limit 🤷‍♂️

Is there any point somewhere in that delusional rant? Did you forgot to take your pills?

I have put facts to you that her "bright career" you gushed about is just movies being released that she shot before she was cancelled. And they were in post production.

She did not " just finished filming The Collaboration". That movie was filmed somewhere in Autumn of 2022. One year before she was cancelled.

"In September 2022 Melissa Barrera was revealed to be joining the cast. Filming started in 2022".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Collaboration_(film)

She has no new projects. Her career stalled. Who knows - maybe she will get new roles in the future. Many cancelled actors can still do that. Some get un-cancelled. But right now she has nothing. No matter how many tantrums you will trow - it will not change the reality.

She seems to be getting desperate. I read recently that she was keen on appearing in the next Scary Movie! 😂

Radio Silence (directors of Scream V, VI and Abigail) seem fond of her. I wouldn't be surprised if they cast her in their next movie too or if they get her a role in the possible Ready or Not sequel that seems to be in the works. They could be her saving grace.

She has another horror movie coming out soon. Your Monster. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Your_Monster

If her career stumbles I'm sure some low budget horror flicks would love to cast the lead of the recent Scream movies. It'll not be A-list but she can make a living from phoning it in on low budget genre work.

reply

I quite like her, and she's hot as hell. I'd certainly be happy to watch her in some low budget horror if that's the way it goes for her.

That is how people survive Nazi's Germany. I remember a chapter in Adventures of a Bystander by author Peter Drucker. He criticized no one dared to question Nazi, not even famous scientists, scholars, and politicians. Because people are afraid to lose their jobs.

Now we live in the same society: the right for free speech was a thing of the past.

She doesn’t support genocide, she’s anti Israel and pro peace.
Due to this she will not work in other than independent films going forward.
