I doubt #MeToo was made to go after Trump. I do think it was used as a indiscriminate weapon to go after powerful men for justice, perceived
slights, or even spiteful petty revenge.

Phyllis Hyman is yet ANOTHER diva who should have been huge. But Clive Davis wanted her to adult contemporary pop music. Ms Hyman wasn't having that, so Clive went and got Whitney Houston instead. Phyllis would later commit suicide by the early 90's. What a sad ending to her.
Living Colour, I have no idea what happened here. But it's always been hard for black rock/metal acts to make it big. I remember their second album being even better than their debut.
