Very true No Cack, I won’t ‘cope’, I’ll call out the woke shite that you love taking up the ass from Hollyweird. Hollywood: Remember when you loved movies? Now take endless woke propaganda up the ass forever instead Rusty: No, just make good movies again Cac1981: Snowflake 🤷🏻‍♂️ I actually get freaked out reading that Shiela scene: EXT. DAYTON HOUSE - NIGHT Pete drives up and parks his Camaro in the driveway. When he gets out of the car, he sees Sheila standing by the front step. She is looking in his direction, but doesn't seem to see him. She SUDDENLY turns and looks up the street - she YELLS. SHEILA (total horror) THERE'S SOMEONE WITH HIM!! As she yells, she starts to look around wildly - then her eyes follow the path the Camaro took into the driveway - then the path Pete took to where he has been standing all this time. Her eyes find Pete and she stands by the front step. PETE (frightened) Sheila? She heads toward him. PETE Sheila, what is it?... What are you doin' here? SHEILA You've been fucking somebody else haven't you? The rest is as we see in the film but I’d love to have seen the intro bit with ‘THERE’S SOMEONE WITH HIM!’ It’s so off-kilter, unnerving and mysterious, fresh out of a nightmare. As is the weird motif of Pete not being seen by people, or existing a few seconds in the future, like he’s out-of-sync with ‘reality’. Same. It’s one of Spielberg’s best, PG-13 and it’s far more terrifying and disturbing than most R rated horror films. It works because it’s covertly another holocaust film like Schindler’s and taps into the deep fear of being mass exterminated. It sure is, check out this merciless verdict: https://youtu.be/7J7aJtGphVs So far, sure. The marketing was fiendishly good, it was always going to open strong. But word is already spreading about how awful it is: https://youtu.be/7J7aJtGphVs Weak. Both have Ford, too. Ironically this is proven by the Barbie poster which has the caption ‘She’s everything. He’s just Ken’ Misandry and the deification of women are perfectly normal now, and the reverse statement ‘He’s everything. She’s just Barbie’ would be unthinkable. Feminists need to apologise to men, accept a period of male domination as penance, and then we can talk about resuming equality of the sexes. Correct analysis. Also, can’t believe Tropic Thunder is 15 years old! Hard to believe that Rachel Getting Married was made by the genius who gave us Silence Of The Lambs. I remember the sister getting married to a guy who resembles a black paedophile computer programmer. Well that’s clearly not the case because I’m commenting on the film whereas you’re just dropping snarky narcissistic all-caps ‘look at me!’ shitposts everywhere. We’re not remotely comparable. Yeah, like I said, you cared enough to comment. Now do you have a point to make about this film or are you just clogging up moviechat with more narcissistic drivel about yourself? Proud of you bro 🤜🤛 It’s relevant to you because you cared enough to comment on it 🤦‍♂️ Thanks. Good luck trying to stop me and everyone else from spreading the word. I will.
I AM A FUCKED UP BITCH.
Finally, some self awareness. Nah movies should return to being art and entertainment, not thinly disguised vehicles for nefarious Communist propaganda. I won’t, but I’ll also publicly warn people to avoid it.
