Based on his portrayal of Raylan I suspected he would be an arrogant, self-centered douchebag. I waited on him and his wife one night in a restaurant. I realized he is a super actor because he is nothing like that. Incredible guy.
The story could have told fully in less than two hours.

I went into the series thinking that, but the evidence is clear. The case has many strange elements which at first glance makes it appeared staged, but that is because the kidnapper was a real nut.
