Haley Joel Osmet let himself turn into a pasty white fat bearded troll, hope that isn't too harsh but it's the truth. And with all the money he made you'd think he'd at least try to look accordingly and not creepy.
I actually had a few. I grew up in the '60s in an area of San Diego called Point Loma where there were several eccentric women in those days. Next door to us was a locally well known famous Starlight Opera Theatre actress her name was Mildred Lamb and another one of the neighbor ladies used to call her, behind your back of course, a fart on a hot skillet. She was very similar to Auntie Mame for sure. And I had a few School teachers and aunts that were definitely runners up to her. Oh the late 50s early 60s was a better time as far as I'm concerned at least it was during my life. I'm actually watching the Auntie Mame now for the hundredth time if not more. I been a bit down and it's by far my best feel good movie ever because it always lift me up and puts me in a better mood. 👍😁

You're totally right I so get it. We are a nation full of too many oxygen wasting useless whimps that need to grow up and grow a pair! I think of real physical hardworking folk, like tuna or crab fisherman I'll use for example. Can you imagine calling the captain up saying I'm depressed woohoo need some time to reflect or "reach out" (ugh I HATE that term, reach out!) to my shrink? He'd be fired! And if he didn't get it together end up with all the other useless out of work homeless losers this country has today. I was going to say we better WAKE UP as a nation and get a grip but, honestly, I think it's too friggin late! What was once a growing up proud nation has become a nation of losers lops and noobs just wasting space. 😡
No. When Atticus fires the rifle the camera pans to the dog a rope pull the dogs feet, cut. Actually I think there's a clip on YouTube that shows it or at best has a clip of the scene and you can slow it down and see. Also, back then (and today) all big film sets are insured all employees, technical and actors, unions like IATSE and SAG. There would be NO way of having a rabid dog on set!!

Yeah you're right. But I guess my point was here they were back in 68-69 predicting so much perceived advancement by 2001 albeit probably much farfetched but my God we haven't even returned to the Moon let alone Mars which was Werner von Bron's dream with the Saturn V's advancing forward and we shelved it. I always shudder to think what sort of rocket the Saturn V would be today had we kept her going with the technologies since and today. Sigh ..😔
