Still a huge issue: People WILL break into your house and steal all your stuff.
The USA would be far richer, so it would be a lot cheaper to do all those crazy things you mentioned. You'd be surprised how expensive a human life is, especially human life like those incarcerated for their whole lives, among others.
Tax dollars would go straight back into the system and not be used on inmates (for example), which would have a butterfly effect on everything else, causing the prices of everything to shoot straight down.
Meaning transferring patients out of every hospital to remote location 'hospitals' (which again would be bought and paid for by the tax payer, but they can now easily afford it) would be a dandy, as long as you started it a couple of weeks in advance.
Yea they aren't gonna risk leaving some random purgers alone in case those purgers turn on the truck. Like someone else said; they more than likely spent most of their time traveling to where non-purgers were holed up and smoking them out and killing them.
So rather than roaming the streets endlessly looking for other purgers, they go from point A to point B to smoke out the non-purgers, and during the journey, if they happen to come across other purgers, they'll just kill em to be on the safe side, but it's certainly not their primary objective.
The Purge (2013) sets the tone quite well but the movie itself isn't as good as it could have been. I gave The Purge (2013) a 6/10.
This movie was SURPRISINGLY GOOD! So much in fact I gave it a soft-8/10! Like another poster said, Frank Grillo did a great job. Story keeps you on your toes, didn't really have any downtime in the movie and it was a 1 hour 45 minuter. Acting was a bit shoddy from 'Shane', and yes the daughter is pretty annoying, but apart from that it was pretty solid everywhere else.
Exactly - you'll pretty much lose everything if you leave the country whilst The Purge is occurring.

It definitely needs to be 'only murder is legal' rather than 'everything is legal'.
Problem with that is people will burn down your house. You're not just fighting for your lives, you're fighting for survival to last the other 364 days of the year until the next purge. Doubt there's any insurance valid for the night of The Purge.
Yes, this movie definitely isn't 'boring', it has very good pacing. But I think due to the fast-pacing it does get maybe a little confusing and feels a little rushed. A solid 5/10.
