I was already happy to see shane , but snl underutilized the whole situation. Lorne should have had an opening with shane. Shane seems to have to cater to snl as oppose to the opposite . His stand up was probably the most risk snl will has taken in the last 8 years, and moving forward. Wonder if the ratings were huge tho. From all the dawgs. Cable sucks tho still

They should have gone more grimy and adult with the tone. Show of those female assets so to speak, specifically that sweeny gal. Like a grindhouse style . Do something un expected hollywood.. that being said i havent seen it, but i might see it for free , for the g ratedness of it, something to throw on in the back round , while cooking dinner for the fam.

Yes , i was very dismissive of it in my early early teens (where the tits??!!,etc) . Watching all these years later and i love it. The atmosphere he makes with all the musical compositions is amazing. The music really adds a lot of enjoyment for me. The first song at end credits is an obligatory cheesy 90s pop song but the classical music that follows is what should have cued up at the start of the end credits. Great movie, that pays respect to the wonderful movies that preceded it
I would say it did not inspire, but definitely looks at how when crazy meets another crazy things can become very escalated, to the point of no reason or return .
