I agree and one day I’ll watch it a 2nd time. Yes the Spahn Ranch was chilling.
I thought the same thing until close to the end it got really good and I figured it all out. I think I’d enjoy it more if I watched it again and picked up on some things! It was truly a weird movie!

I agree... Kurt Russell was around Hollywood in those days. He was part of the Nostalgia !!! I loved him being a part of it. You pick up on these little things when your older and remember.
There was a lot of comedy in the movie to lighten everyone up. It was a weird, funny movie with a twist. The characters were not supposed to be anything but how they were written to show us how great it would have been had it actually ended that way in real life.
INDEED! I thought the Bruce Lee scenes were hilarious !!! Haven’t we all wanted to knock the shit out of an evil Ninja? I mean .... come on... we’ve all pretended to kick a japs ass as kids after learning about Pearl Harbor.... that doesn’t make you racist. I’m white and my kids are 1/2 asian. My kids do funny impressions of the asian foreign language.... (they grew up in Texas) Do you really think asians don’t make fun of Americans? We all need to have a sense of humor.

Mr. Pitt is from Missouri and even though he doesn’t actually talk like that in real life.....he’s been around those that do... so I say he did a great job with that accent having grown up around hillbillies. I’m an Okie and I can do a mean Oklahoma accent having grown up in that environment.
