Its based on a book and on a movie. Its very good! I suggest you to watch both movie and tv series. It talks more about a cult,lets put it in this way.
Agree its probably for that reason. Altough i think the 80s has a so unique style that it will always be referencered.

Yeah i think Rian Johnson trilogy and the Game of Thrones writers trilogy are cancelled now. They will do a trilogy produced by Feige and Fauvreau,with Brie Larson probably as the lead actress. Basically they will take the MCU model to Star Wars

I think it will be a great movie. But Vanessa Kirby would have been a better Catwoman,i already know it.
Yeah,he liked the message at the end of the first movie (the focus was more on their confidence,happines and satisfaction more than the money) and he didnt like the message at the end of the thrid one (the focus in the dialogues was more on the money).
I loved the first two movies,but the best movie of all is the third one,directed by Alfonso Cuaron. By the way the "only english people" rule (it wasnt a "no americans" rule,but a "only english" rule) was only about the actors,not the directors. In fact they also offered the role of director to Spielberg before going to Columbus.
The wizards cant use magic on the human world so i guess he couldnt.
