I still don't understand why they thought Beth killed her mom. I looked closely at that scene. Here's how it went down:
1. Evelyn tells Beth to open the gate. Beth's horse freaked out a little bit and bumped into Evelyn's horse, as Beth didn't know how to ride it properly ( because her parents didn't teach her or just ignored the fact that she's afraid of horses)
2. Evelyn's horse got on his back legs and then fell onto Evelyn.
3. Evelyn immediately blames Beth for this accident. Kacey offers to go get help, as he knows how to ride. Evelyn sais No, Beth did this, she should go.
So a grown woman, with an entire horse on top of her body, in need of immediate help, sends a panicked 12 year old, why cannot ride a horse, to get help.
To me this is on Evelyn.
And women use their x ray vision to see that? Both women were into him way before he got naked.
He seeks an opportunity?
Beth asked him to play a song for her. Rip knows that Beth gets what she wants. So why is Walker at fault here? And why is him singing a song such a big deal?
I think you should prove your point before asking others to prove you wrong. You can't just say Fact like that's an argument lol
True. I think the point there're trying to make is that people in Montana are tough. Even women.
A good guy who killed a minimum of 5 people in the first 2 seasons. Even if those were criminals, anywhere on the planet except Paradise Valley, Kacey would be considered a murderer.
Jamie didn't kill to save the ranch, he killed because he ratted in John and all their secrets would have been out in the open. He has a direct interest in not destroying the ranch and all John 's legacy.
And John didn't give him anything? Really? Jamie will inherit part of the ranch ( he would have before he chose his chose his murdering biological father), he has a good education, he has the Duttons name. Who do you think would vote for Jamie Randall? Jamie would probably be in jail or dead if John didn't adopt him.
Well, Jamie is not his child. So he can't love him as much as the others.
Plus Jamie chose to forgive his psycho father who killed his mom, and who tried to kill all the Duttons and said he will keep trying until he succeeded. I get him hating Beth, but John raised him and Kacey treated him like a brother. There's no possible reason for him to hate John THAT much.
She's terrible, but gets somewhat better as the show progresses.

They tell us what she's been through. Her mom died in an accident that she blamed Beth for, and so does John. She carried that guilt all her life. Plus Jamie took her to a clinic where they sterilizes her. She will never be a mother.
She got so far in life in part because her dad is a local big wig. I noticed that she can occasionally be superficially charming.
She's a unrealistic character and annoying to watch. But all Duttons are slightly or overtly psycho. Even Kacey who seams more normal killed about 5 people in the first 2 seasons. John regularly orders people to be taken to " the train station". Killing for them is like getting into fights to other people.
