No they didn't.... kids in the 80s spend their summers outside. People didn't sit inside playing stupid games all day long, all summer long, or on nice days at that time. Most people didn't,anyway. I don't believe you. No one said that stuff. :) You're right, no one said those things that the time. They said stupid things like "F&*K an A." I got so sick of hearing that stupid phrase. I have never heard anyone say "Jesus F*^k!" EVER. Nope, never heard that until this. If you Google King’s statement on it, you’ll come upon a quote traced back to a forum on Stephenking.com from November 2013 that reads: I wasn’t really thinking of the sexual aspect of it. The book dealt with childhood and adulthood –1958 and Grown Ups. The grown ups don’t remember their childhood. None of us remember what we did as children–we think we do, but we don’t remember it as it really happened. Intuitively, the Losers knew they had to be together again. The sexual act connected childhood and adulthood. It’s another version of the glass tunnel that connects the children’s library and the adult library. Times have changed since I wrote that scene and there is now more sensitivity to those issues. I'm a fan of Stephen King, but this book was horribly boring. He dwells too much on all the weird stuff that must have happened during his school days that I've never heard of anywhere else. We moved a lot and I've attended a lot of schools. No real school I've attended had people act the way they do in any of King's stories. I don't know if people are that much different in Maine or else if it is all fabricated from King's demented mind. It is VERY FUNNY. I wasn't expecting this to be so good. BECAUSE not CAUSE Yes, that is absolutely correct. ALL Americans think exactly the same things. You are just a little bit crazy. Eliza was the AI program... that was originally created in 1966. It has been written for many computer systems. It is more of a sample or demonstration utility. The speech module was something separate.. Those were available in 1982, maybe before. The Commodore computers in 1982 had all of that stuff available. And then the PC computers (IBM compatibles) had it once they added speakers and sound capability. All of the more popular computer systems in the 80s eventually had speech available, most, if not all, were with an add-on device because he read a book about acting and watched a variety of productions... they were trying to convey that he is smart and is a quick learner.... unrealistic but funny They have literally mentioned the name of the town in EVERY EPISODE. TBBT nope, they have said multiple times that it is 1989 They never said 1980. When the season first started, they said 1989. Chuck Lorre hasn't been adding laugh tracks. All the laughing is recorded from the audience. you are correct, it is terrible everything about it is awful 1/10 it was HORRIBLE I don't remember hating Season 6 but Season 8 is really bad... horrible stories, really lame.
