I agree. He had a last hope of Sam fearing his mom's death, calling the cops. Or even, he could fight Sam and not die. When death is the ultimate way out you'll lean onto anything to try and avoid it. Why would he kill himself? Makes no sense. That's right! I think it was Gene... I agree with you. About Sattem, there's a theory where Jonah shot the cookie jar and not Sattem, therefore destroying the one evidence he had against the Byrds. I don't know anything about forensics, and wouldn't know if shooting a jar full of ashes and the remains with a shotgun could in fact destroy DNA evidence. My guess would be no, it doesn't. But it's theory I read somewhere. That poker scene is a pretty good one, though. The whole service at that house is super weird. I loved how Josh Brolin speaks with his eyes. And the devil's story. Fitted super well with the atmosphere. Me too! Agree! Also, I think that those conversations with Alex in her head were just too long. It would break the flow of the scene. The rest of the series is good :) hahahaha... Good point! :) Oh, yeah. I loved them all. He even told one of them when entering the dangerous part of the jungle, into that tribe. They say something like "Really, now?" and he goes "I'm sorry, now I can't turn it off"... That was a good one too! :) I must've said it a hundred times during this movie. But I've always been a big fan and found her charming and beautiful. :D I never saw any "watch free with ads". I'm currently in Brazil. That's probably it, then. :) I watched in on Amazon Prime. Paid streaming service with no commercial, obviously. :) Where were you watching it? I agree with you 100%. That babysitter or maid or whatever she was did a terrible american accent. I couldn't even pay attention to what she was saying... And I didn't know there was a 2006 movie. Thanks for the tip. Cheers, :) hahahaha... I think men go crazy too! But the show did depict weird behavior from two women. The cop must've been super lonely to be suddenly hung up on a thread of possibility that "she is the one". That wasn't real at all. And the wife took it super well. Not realistic. I agree. I totally agree with you. I finished the whole season last night. Acting is bad and there are a lot of plot holes in my opinion. The one you're referring to is only one of the many. But overall it's a good show. I wouldn't have finished if it wasn't.. haha... I don't know if you watched the rest of it, so I won't say anything. But she makes a decision about Matheus towards the end. ;) That's absolutely it. The simplicity of that movie made me think of some unseen layers of society we live in. I really liked the movie and the way it was left to interpretation. I never noticed that sign saying $15 a tour. I'll try and watch it again! Cheers! Happy New Year! :) I believe the intent of this movie is to tell us a story where the army made one of the several mistakes all military forces make. At the very end during the credits they say something about the army shutting down all outposts that were "obviously indefensible". Pretty good movie, though, imo. Thank you, my friend. I did notice that they mentioned it later in the series. And it made sense. Amazing show, by the way! Cheers :) Yes. I agree with you. Deep down, the husband wanted a little bit of that freedom she was living. He wanted to see for himself what that is all about. We could see that his feeling for her were real and intensified when he sees her being free, singing, having friends, living a different life. All of the sudden, he was desperate to have her back. That was clear in that scene at the hotel. And it didn't seem to me that his desperation had anything to to with the baby. That's how I saw it, anyways :) hahahaha... Good question I get it. But my impression was that the waiter just knew what the boss usually drinks. That's all I could think of. It'd be weird if Mickey ordered the very same beer every day for years and kept saying the name of the beer to his waiter. That's my take. :)
