Excellent theory....count me in! Actually, Swan and the boy were already dead by the time Johnson lead the troops thru the burial ground. The Crow that had been following the troops up the mountain (as mentioned by the lieutenant) killed them when they saw Johnson ride away with the soldiers. They had left Johnson, Swan, and the boy alone in a live-and-let-live understanding, but once Johnson rode away with the detachment of troops it broke that unwritten arrangement and it cost his wife and adopted son their lives. I appreciate you sharing this detail, didn't notice it myself. So Johnson see's her blue fabric on a Crow corpse, which indicates that she's already probably dead. That's why he suddenly bolts out of there and rides fast back to the cabin. He's not afraid of the burial ground spirits, he fears Swan and the boy have been killed by the Crow. Keep in mind he had just lead the troops through there a day or two before, so within that time some Crow had come and adorned a corpse with her blue fabric. That would indicate that they killed Swan and the boy pretty much the same day or following day after he left the cabin with the troops. They were killed because Johnson was seen leaving with the troops by those Crow who had been watching the detachment of troops climb the mountain, as reported by the lieutenant. Up to that point, the Crow had left Johnson, Swan, and the boy alone in a live-and-let-live arrangement. Seeing Johnson ride away with the troops broke that unwritten arrangement. Swan and the boy weren't killed because Johnson and the troops ''trespassed' on the Crow burial ground, since that didn't happen until after they were already dead. Just trying to set the timeline right in my head. As one of my personal favorite Swayze characters would say, “Opinions vary.” IKR? At that time Sam Sheppard and a couple others were known commodities, but the majority of the cast weren’t names you’d recognize. REEE-SPECT! It's trying to be Black Hawk Down, but in L.A. vs aliens. It doesn't come close because the story itself gets in the way (aliens??), the director is not on Ridley's level, and the cast (while decent) was no where near as talented. I'm listening... So, according to you, if you're anti-woke you're pro skinhead ...got it. I agree it was blasphemy to erase the trademark red hair from House Harkonnen. Plus, it would have been awesome to see Batista wearing Key's "Mr. Garvey" wig... https://pyxis.nymag.com/v1/imgs/9f4/97c/2ed8907bc3c891fb9670c8d86281eca2fa-02-key-peele-wigs-007.2x.w710.jpg Was it though? On a scale of 1-10, I'd grade them the following... HPD: 8.3 PR: 7.6 When all is said and done, TOJW (8.8) and Unforgiven (9.5) are Clint's best westerns. TVippy ...please share your list of 5 most action-packed movies of all-time. I'll hang up and listen. BHD for me, but they are 2 of my top 3 war films of all-time ...#1 being Zulu. 100% Dumb self-imposed movie limit is dumb. Just watched it last night. First, the Berber man was real, his daughter was a ghost/mirage. Second, Berbers can be found across North Africa (Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt primarily) …so this movie must be portraying a mythical event during the Libyan Civil War. Keep in mind that outside of USAF involvement there were officially no US ground troops sent to Libya during that time. I agree that the movie was disjointed and confusing, along with being unrealistic. 4/10 Thanks for injecting some rational commentary into this thread. I’m sure she is beneath a barbarian hunk like yourself, only hotties need apply for a shot with Onan. Well played.
