I want to see a remake of this with as much CGI as possible. None of that crappy practical effects from the original. Remakes are so great, right.

Honestly, that's not the best news to me. Lucas didn't know what he wanted. That's why the prequels are such a mess. I'm jazzed about there being some level of closure, but I don't think his input is necessary or beneficial at this point.
I met him once and he was like the coolest person I ever met. Also he's an actor too, so I think it counts.
