Not even close. Germany was totally collapsed. Even the rich people were nearly penniless, and their currency was worth less than toilet paper. So they emigrated to USA by the masses to restart life. The weather during that moment didn't look particularly freezing, probably just below zero (or 32 F) from the looks. You wouldn't freeze to death in minutes when wearing fleece/wool clothes and out of the water, but you would still be in extreme discomfort. He would be dead by nightfall without heat, but certainly not in minutes. Man, what a flaky guy. It's almost like a death kiss if he is involved in a movie. Alien 5? Probably cancelled. Robocop Returns? Left it, and probably will be canned. District 9 sequel? There is a heavy hint right in the movie, but never happened. The Gone World? Probably in development hell since he moved on to work on the Robocop sequel (that he left...) Well, I guess sort of. I remember right after TFA was out, everyone and their mother was "sure" Snoke would be revealed to be Darth Plagueis. As he was the only known Force user to know how to resurrect the dead, it was kind of logical. Personally I would have far preferred that for TROS. Now the entire 7-9 trilogy feels like a slightly rewritten reboot of episodes 4-6. If Snoke had survived to the end, and was revealed to be Plagueis, it would have been a more interesting arc. Now Snoke is just some "random dude" with no significance. I guess he was possibly to be considered to be a clone of Darth Sidious. If you want realism, might I suggest watching the news instead? Same for me. Just finished watching it and it was a very nice combination of Terminator, steampunk, and scifi, with a fairly coherent and nicely tied script. Haven't read the books either, but perhaps I will. I was surprised to see a rating of 6.1 in IMDB, but ah well. For me, it was a solid 8/10. Even my 5 yo son liked it and it was the first movie he sat through without running here and there :D Other movies, like Jurassic Park, The Meg, and similar creature films that you would expect kids to like, he never finished :) I guess robots and machines will be his niche. It's obvious the trilogy was meant to have Snoke as the main villain, and Rey to be his daughter, but a ginger asshat screwed up the plan and they had to rewrite it in 5 minutes. Oh, will it feature The Middle Order? I wouldn't mind a completely rewritten reboot of Episodes 7 - 9, where they ignore everything from these movies. And keep the Kennedy problem out, even if that thing already got fired. Pepperoni Pound for pound, Kilo had the high ground "This was copypasted from Return of the Jedi, wtf" They even had to bring back the childish Ewoks. I was half-expecting them to still bang those Stormtrooper helmets. Same schtick with Finn & the horse chick. I was sure they'd say "Oh, it's your sister you didn't know about". Check the scene where she walks towards Kylo's aircraft in the desert. 0:37:31 into the movie. Now that the evil witch is gone, perhaps we'll get a reboot of episodes 7 - 9. Even the cast hated being in the movies, but obviously not refusing the money. Laughing, mostly Yes. The only reason is money. I once read something along the lines that Sony wanted 50/50, and Di$ney wanted something crazy like 90/10 instead. > even if they used an inflatable doll Whoa, whoa... that's insulting. Inflatable dolls have much more emotion and range. > turning Rambo into a depressing sob story/drama. Like the first movie?
