I agree with you regarding the political issue... I am not from the US, I really don't understand all the crying and hysteria because Trump won the elections. I live in a country with a lot of political corruption and after an election sometimes we feel angry or frustrated because the new president is worst that the previous one, but thats all..no drama. Maybe if we talk about a country like Venezuela were there is no food, no medicines, etc I will understand the drama, but in the US? That is my point of view from a foreigner who doesn't live there and don't get it..so yes you are right. This season was made only for US viewers at least with the political theme...the clowns? Maybe they should have chose another phobia...like ghosts?? Zombies??? Already done...mummys?? Maybe...
Definitely the doctor and the detective are involved..but why Ivy? She seem to be a nice mom (is clear that Oz prefers her over Ally), so it doesn't makes sense (at least to me) to put her son into that situación to drive Ally insane...I mean that poor kid is going to need therapy the rest of his life: Twisty's cómics, the evil clowns and the Chang's massacre, the nightmares with Evil clowns, the weird nanny, those horrible videos from internet, a crazy mother crying all the time, the pet in the microwave, the smiley face in his front door and in the crazy neighbor's wall and the fact that he heard that they were "marked to died"....and we are only in the third chapter.
It is possible... imagine this really crazy scenario.. Dany dies for some unknown reason..maybe fighting with the white walkers, and on the other hand Cersei is kill by Arya and Jaime kills himself, or Jaime kills Cersei and then kills himself, or dies in a battle or whatever...
Who is the heir of the iron throne is Cersei and Jaime are dead? Tyrion... and who is Tyrion wife

Yo should watch "A very Long engagement" with Audrey Tautou and Gaspar Ullier. Its a very beautiful movie, and the cinematography is amazing.
Putting away the Aegon and Joanna theory... and being a little crazy with this... maybe Jon Snow, Daenerys, Jaime, Euron, etc, etc died defending the kingdom from the white walkers and defeat them. Cersei is still sitting in the Iron Throne... Arya arrives to King Landing and kills Cersei and complete her list. Who is the next in line? Tyrion. He is married to Sansa who is the Queen of the North. That would be cool and unexpected.
