You are of course right the facts are there , what's frightening is how soft the punishments are and that in some ways we are going backwards with Animal testing in 2019 to start again after a 25 year ban ,we allowed animal testing for cosmetics to resume to bring us in line with E.U, Chemical rules, (not sure why after Brexit) we also breed and sell dogs (beagles) for testing ,Basically our current leaders fuckin suck.
I once worked nights in a hotel on the desk , after everyone had gone to bed I'd just bum around drinking beers from the bar and watching movies good job but paid little , anyway sometimes I was completely alone in the hotel and no guests there when major renovations took place but still had to have one person in the building at all times due to insurance reasons so maybe that's a universal thing

I loved the "we don't like to talk about it" reason I believe they should of left it at that.
It made me think of some kind of ridiculous klingon fashion of the time a bit like in our society today with women pumping all kinds of fillers into there lips and ridiculous implants.
Still I got to say the first time I heard that line and they are sat round the table staring intently at worf waiting for him to explain and he simply says "we dont like to talk about it" did make me laugh out loud, and is one of my favorite trek memories.

6 yrs Late to the party but absolutely yes I could be friends with her
I'd probably ruin it as she would be easy to fall for as she is fun and very attractive and sweet
But even if that didn't happen she would be fun to have around and don't think I'd ever get bored in her company

I dunno , I thought just bomb the shit out of it with a load of B2 spirits maybe take out all the AA first as well with I dunno some more of those Tomahawks or drones or something just to even out the odds. I guess they watched star wars and thought that plan was the best.
I know it's four years late to the party but where the hell is everyone getting these straight jackets from ? I've worked in mental health for 16 yrs worked with some very violent ppl some never recovered and I've never seen one straight jacket in real life, they must all be into kinky sex stuff
Spot on , he knew few bushcraft skills, nowhere near enough to live how he wanted. He lacked insight into what it would take to survive and believed you could just survive with small bits of information gained from other ppl. Jeez I don't think he was even a boy scout. I had a basic field craft training in the Army a few weeks on exercise in basic training and you soon realized that in the field a slight mistake in how you looked after yourself & your equipment (such as a wet sleeping bag) you paid a heavy price thankfully your NCO's there to train you have got your back.

It makes absolutely no sense, who ever pitched & signed off on this idea for a hole season of an already struggling show need to be fired.
They could of had the federation destroyed by the Borg or another Dominion war or those parasites from season 1 tng . But no they went with someone gets upset and all the dilithium blows up.... because feelings are the only thing that matters. Oh and if that being is so magic & powerful it can wipe out civilizations, I'd knock it out and keep it sedated just in case it sneezes and kills everyone it didn't get first time.
Interesting question , maybe it's to do with high levels of oxygen, the blood is dormant until it's exposed to oxygen and that changes it's bloods chemical composition, as we don't know if it has lungs and breathes like most lifeforms we know of, butterfly's for example do not have lungs.
So possibly it takes and needs a small amounts of oxygen like the butterfly not via lungs and takes in a small controlled amount and oxygen over a certain level is when it turns from a stable fluid to toxic.
I lost all hope when the crew were being introduced and one guys says something along the lines of "I want nothing to do with any of you"
Seriously who thought the none player for such an important mission was a good choice.
