Unfortunately, it's the result of the show shooting a season every 2 years. Actors move on. I think the character's inability to cope with social interaction drives the humor of the show. So I agree with posts here saying taking that away from the show would remove much of the humor. As a person who is extremely socially akward myself, I think that his relationship with Louisa would at least allow him to be open with her. In season 1, he seemed like he'd be capable of interaction (as shown with scenes with Louisa, Roger, and Peter) but the show dropped that for the most part. I'm hoping with season 9 being the last, we can get a character arc that sees the Doc as someone who we can at least hope will have some kind of breakthrough. At least with Louisa. Doc Martin I must have raisins in my brain-case to think I'd be first with Krull. Oh well, I agree. Melancholia The Babadook It Follows Oculus Trollhunter Zoe Kazan is adorable in anything she's in. Not typical Hollywood hot but super cute. Ps...I don't know what it's like growing up in the western world but that comes across a bit racist. The Thing ('82) "It's weird and pissed off, whatever it is." "You gotta be fuckin' kidding me." She was in These Final Hours , yes? She was great in that. Parents took me to see Jaws when I was 8. Spent most of the movie hiding in the back of their station wagon. 8/10 first hour, 6/10 after that so 7/10. Directors cut is awful though.
