Do you have an update? I love this show, and I've seen it a few times thoroughly. I am curious to know if you kept going and what you think of it. I remember watching the first couple of episodes a while back, and not getting into it. I stopped watching. Then, I caught a few episodes from later seasons, while my partner watched at home. Last month, we decided to watch it from the beginning... I have really enjoyed (and laughed) watching it from the beginning, now that I already love the characters. And the cat's name was Rodrigue. Rolltide, here's some information on it: https://moviechat.org/tt0878804/The-Blind-Side/58c842aab591530ffd63f491/The-White-Savior-complex-throughout-movie-history That's the name of the neighborhood in Mexico City where the family lives (Colonia Roma). That's the same neighborhood where the director grew up. He had no plan. He had recently learned from his dad that no plan was better than any plan. Several possible reasons: 1) People thought they were lovers, and as a way to show acceptance, they decided to hold their funerals together. 2) They played for the same team (no pun intended). 3) They died together. 4) They were best friends when they were alive, regardless of their sexuality. Not trying to trump (ew) anyone, but I am liberal, I am gay, AND I am Mexican American. I also didn't think this was award material. The only thing I liked was the photography, but other than that, it was kinda boring. View all replies >
