the dude should be lucky to be in film at all. the first avatar barely did anything to spark his career i miss him sieg heiling and nazi marching on stage...fucking woke virgins wanna ruin everything no, blair had always been a male character. check the original script, check the original book. blair was always male. This is something that is actually done in the wrestling world, as well as other weight-based sports like MMA fighting and powerlifting. Connor McGregor competed in the 138lb weight class and the 170lb weight class in the same month. Most of it is based on rapidly shredding waterweight, not actually burning fat. Other methods that are used include the spit bucket (spitting into a bucket over the course of a day or two), extreme use of laxatives, exercising in a sauna so that nearly all skin moisture is dried, and vomiting. A lot of powerlifters and bodybuilders (probably wrestlers too) have been rushed to the hospital due to extreme dehydration during these weight shreds. I watched the first two episodes. The "woke" stuff that the right always whine about is barely worth noting. Black Shaggy is actually an awesome idea that should've been done decades ago. The political humor that pokes fun at white people, and other people as well, was also fine and not really an issue, other than it being generally unfunny in a basic unfunny way. The show itself is just pretty bad. It's made me officially sick of the meta "self-aware" humor where people sarcastically say really lazy dialog. I was also pretty uncomfortable with the high and bizarre amount of teenage sexualization of the show; the first scene of the first episode has visibly nude teenage girls showering together, with asses and side boobs clearly seen. The show makes Mindy Kaling seem like a pretty horrible and toxic person to be around, that she's a very bitter and hateful person who still hasn't gotten over not being popular in high school 30 years ago. If anything, the show is a very interesting Freudian look into Kaling's depressed psyche. Republicans: liberals are trying to censor our freedom of speech! The freedom of speech republicans want: the n-word my friend is family friends with nicholson, and also an indie filmmaker. he once said that jack promised to "come out of retirement" to act in one of his projects. he also admitted that would never happen, because jack has hardcore memory issues brought on by alcoholism. people were laughing at the cgi even when it played in theatres. it really does have some atrocious cgi i love how that's the one detail you took away from my two paragraphs lol I love Justin Long in everything, i just wish he stopped picking scripts by dartboard. Dude would have an Oscar nom if he played his cards right. From what I'm understanding, the show is genuinely unfunny and poorly written, but the conservatives are also pointing a lot of their criticisms on the brown gay people/ I think there are moments of the movie that work pretty well, mostly being the scenes that were clearly written by SS Wilson and Brent Maddock (I'm a huge Tremors fan). However, it becomes pretty clear whenever any of the other four writers take over, with the abysmally unfunny sex jokes and adult humor. I think the steampunk elements are the only thing that's consistently pretty cool; as stupid and pointless as it is within the film's context, the giant spider is cool on its own. Some of the CGI is fine, but the effects towards the end get pretty awful (nameably the green screen effects). Also, most of the action scenes are pretty poorly shot, and the film simply isn't well-directed a lot of the time. I don't think the film is completely unredeemable, nor is worse than another legendary bad blockbuster like Transformers 2 or Jaws: The Revenge, but it's a 4/10 at absolute kindest. I agree that it should've been a traditional live-action film. The animation really serves no purpose, except to make the scramble suits look normal. I would've been fine if the movie switched to animation during the drug trip scenes; I actually think this would've made those scenes more interesting. I just think that the animation hinders the experience and that the film probably would be much more widely loved and appreciated had it been a live-action movie, and it would've done a lot better at the box office. Robert Downey Jr probably could've secured an Oscar nomination if you could actually see what you're supposed to be looking at. probably, that's why his acting was so good. method acting it was a movie about the average moviechat poster, so you might be right... dude literally started flying. i think the implication was that he had superpowers and flew off to fight thanos. just my interpretation PHALLUS SYMBOL PHALLUS SYMBOL PHALLUS SYMBOL Most horror movies have lower ratings than they should. The fact that movies like It Follows, The Witch, and Midsommar all have 6.8's makes me think people just don't get horror films. This one included. It's a modern thriller masterpiece. this is the real reason. hulk is great at being hulk, but he really can't do nearly any other role. that, and his agent must've hated his guts with some of the movies he did (suburban commando, santa with muscles, mr. nanny, 3 ninjas, etc) He also made jokes about Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and James Franco long before any accusations came out.
