Wow. Don't even recall posting that here. But thanks for replying lenkoPenko. What you say makes sense. Was just thinking the other day that when the girls were born, they can't've looked anything alike. Switches do happen -- albeit rarely -- but between babies that could really be mistaken for one another, not one blond and the other with black hair. Also, SammiWin: 1. How is Bombshell Betty an appropriate name for a tattoo parlor that takes itself seriously? To me that name screams "tramp stamp shop". 2. What kind of name is Noelle for a Latina? Although I did like the epi. I like that Lily stood firm in Carlton's being raised Jewish. Katherine was uncharacteristically myopic in this epi. She's always been about inclusion and diversity, and suddenly when Toby asks her why Carlton should be baptized, she replies, "It's what you do!" Suddenly she's all WASP-who-can't-wrap-her-head-around-not-being-Christian? Out of character, no? I'm confused about the tattoo parlor. On the door it says "Bombshell Betty's", which to me sounds exactly like tramp stamp territory; but the owner seems to be named Noelle. Can anyone explain? I searched for "critiques of Switched at Birth" and deafies say it's "theatrical", not natural at all. How about the pilot, the way she wore it for the Carlton fundraiser? Looked ludicrous. Another booboo in 6.4 (I think), when Iris is telling Keshon her background, having grown up in Alaska, and says she saw her mom's side of the family seldom, as they live "on the mainland". Uh-uh. For AK, that'd be "the lower 48". Also, can anyone explain how a post I wrote on IMDB shows up here? I'm glad, but...what the heck's going on? IMDB closed their boards and moved the content to here? Kippur, for one.
