Unfriended (2014) was first of this style that i know of dude, it's a movie chill, dude suspend your disbelief a bit dude +1 Although kudos to raising the awareness since this type of scam is apparently a thing. I thought this cant be real. But it seems it is. But as for the Russian gangsters... +1 These are amongst the worst if not the worst Russian gangsters on film ever. That moment saved the movie IMO. 60 fps video conferencing on a portable 1996 computer, dope. At the very least the pig connects the diplomat's car scene with the ranch. When they stop the car in the middle of the road they don't know where they are, and then they see the pig, so then they have a pretty good clue where they are. whats dehamming Well, my guess is, sometimes you don't see the horror coming. Some stuff creeps step by step and people justify them more and more. Some characters had their own opportunistic motives. Dani even called Christian an opportunist. So why they stayed, my guess is they justified themselves things they were seeing and as it got worse some were either greedy to get more info for their own research (Christian and Josh), too stupid to notice (Mark), or too scared (Dani). Like the story with the frog and the boiling water. Yeah, I noticed similarities too, at least in the structure. But the execution was not to my liking. Also, it had a lot of religious influence. It could have been an interesting subplot to investigate but... Arctic (2018) Wind Chill (2007) Yeah, I liked it too. I thought it's going to be another over-dramatic real-world story interpretation but it was engaging throughout. I like the idea 3). It surely fits. Obviously no. 2 is not the case since we see a witch, or more of them, multiple times during the film, alone, or interacting with the world. The subtitle sure can give a hint. As for ambiguity, there's a decent amount of it, so we can come to our own interpretations and/or discussions, which I like. But enough material to dismiss no. 2. Up to interpretation, but I believe he called his buddy to let him know he’ll confess everything tomorrow. I agree. This movie's theme had potential. A nice, feel-good movie could be done. Rarely does the shaky cam work. Yet it's being overused and abused. Plus when they zoom in it makes me feel sick. And this is on a 24" screen. I think I would throw up in a theater. I agree, 6 as well for me. It went downhill for me when the love story started. Otherwise great potential. Nice. Although I cannot find any connection with this movie.
