It certainly looks like it'll be his farewell to clay. Having won 3 Slams on grass and hard courts in the last couple of seasons, I'm not sure he wouldn't stick around on the other surfaces a bit longer.
Couldn't they find longer trousers?

The time stamps, particularly, seem to be well out at the moment. I was very impressed to scroll down a bit and find a thread that declared it was originally started 47 years ago...
I guess it's play it by ear...one of them will catch on and become the dominant forum.
