Binged BUT

My partner and I ate this up when we came across it the other week - but the last two episodes especially let it down somewhat which was a shame as it was of course a slick piece from Ryan Murphy and co.

I think if it had been clearly set in an alternate reality, rather than a half fictionalised time, it may have been fine, and we could go with it. But, for one, to have the actors be openly homosexual at the awards ceremony in that time period took us out of it completely.

Although it was very interesting and clearly had some strong themes, some of the characters and storylines were ridiculous. Unfortunately I also didn’t rate much to the acting skills (unless it was the character, which was a poor choice!) of the actress that played the actress that played Meg! She was very bland.
