Haunting, compelling drama

Hard to imagine what it was like for those, like my ancestors, who had to find a way to survive during the famine.

Its a bit slow, admittedly, but the drama is real, heartfelt. A movie that didn't require hundreds of millions to make, either. Ireland is good at that sort of cinema.
