This show is so bad it should never have been given the green light.
The lead actress is not funny, endearing or likeable in any way.
The caste premise is a disgrace. There are other ways to try to evoke humor from a situation.
This should have been canceled during the airing of the pilot.
I finally got around to powering through it. Still have a few eps to go. It's not a good show, but I think it has potential. The problem is this is two shows mushed together. On the one hand, we have a traditional show about a struggling single mom, works in a bar, trying to make ends meet. On the other side, we have a far more interesting show about an interracial couple who came from humble beginnings, lived the high life, and is brought back to Earth again. They don't mesh very well. The biggest issue with this show is Pauley. She's the problem with her own show. They built a show around her that doesn't serve her talents very well. And spends a great deal of time ignoring her all together. And yet, she's the only reason i'm even tuning in. It's a quite a conundrum. I wouldn't throw this show out. Parts of it work well. It just needs a lot more wrench time. We're not even to to the spit and polish phase yet.
