Worth a look for Agatha fans

So the Brits have worked up a drama that takes the writer of detective fiction and turns her into a fictional detective.

For anyone who hasn't seen the trailer, here it is:

It's on Netflix. I actually watched it last night. It's a lightweight trifle, but fairly interesting and enjoyable if you're an Agatha fan. As someone who's read several of the books and many of the screen adaptations of her stories, I knew I at least had to give it a look.

My main complaint is that the mystery just does not wrap up in a truly satisfactory way. Maybe I missed an important line of dialogue or something, but there seemed to be no real clues dropped before Agatha seemingly divines the identity of the killer by magic.

However, the performances, cinematography, and overall vibe are nice and I still enjoyed it enough that I didn't feel like it was a waste of time.
