Disappointing

I’m a huge Beach Boys and Brian Wilson fan but was disappointed by this new documentary. It covers pretty much everything that was already covered in previous movies and specials about The Beach Boys so I didn’t really gain anything new from watching this one. For example, they present “did you know that Brian suffered a mental breakdown and stopped touring” as if this fact were new information. It is enjoyable like all Beach Boys stuff, but it is not the “definitive” Brian Wilson documentary it keeps being advertised to be.
