So this whole movie is about Guilt Tripping people for not liking miles.

Spider-Man is Peter Parker and no one else. I'd like Miles Morales if his alter-ego was something original. Piggybacking on a legacy character is lazy. I also find it interesting that there's so much overlap between the types of people that get all bent-out-of-shape over cultural appropriation and the people who say things like, "Anyone can be Spider-Man!"
