So being gay is a choice?

In one reality the guy is straight but the other he is gay? So it’s just a choice? Unbelievable!!!

reply

No, he's bisexual.

reply

So he suffers from mental illness? Is that what you’re saying?

reply

No, but you could benefit from seeking help for your mental illnesses of bigotry and hate.

reply

Where in my post was their bigotry and hate?

reply

Calling bisexuality a mental illness would definitely be considered a bigoted and hateful statement.

reply

Then why do psychologists diagnose Bisexuals as being greater depressed, having higher anxiety, and more likely to be Bi-polar than homosexual men or lesbian women? If it’s a real thing and natural why are mental symptoms flying through the roof when examining Bi-sexuals? Surely it’s just as awkward to be gay as it is to be bi-sexual, why aren’t the numbers the same? Ohhh I know why, something in the brain chemistry is faulty. Could it me some sort of mental illness? Most likely

reply

It's much more likely that it's because of people like you telling them that they have a mental illness.

reply

Bullying has no correlation to suicide though. We know that statistically older white males are the most likely to Kill themselves.

Are these white males really the most bullied group and oppressed? Nope not even close.

You really should read a book or something because you don’t seem to know what you’re talking about, just making blanket statements not backed by statistics.

reply

Post hoc, ergo propter hoc ...

reply

Some kids in school have committed suicide due to bullying---that has happened. And you're either born straight or gay----it's not really a choice. Especially when you always have society telling you from birth that only being straight is the norm.

reply

That’s a blanket statement with no real truth. Certain people within society may say and think those things, but just blaming society in general is silly. So few people within society are gay that they probably feel not normal, maybe you should blame evolution or human nature instead.

reply

Excuse me? Yes, society and religion are the main reasons LBGTQ people have always been shunned, ridiculous, made to feel like they're abnormal, and hassled--and, in some cases, murdered, just because they exist. Why the hell do you think they're always had to fight to have their rights as gay people recognized? Hell, being gay or lesbian was considered an actual mental illness until 1975 in the U.S. You don't know what you're talking about, so go and look up some LBGTQ history and educate yourself.

reply

The LGBTQ isn’t real, gays and trans people have nothing in common nor do they attend weekly meetings. Being straight is the normal as 97% of all people identify as being straight.

Gays weren’t allowed to get married because the entire point of marriage was to have kids and financially protect them, gay people cannot have biological children so I’m not surprised it took so long for society to eventually give in.

reply

The show is not even saying that being gay is a choice----that's just your ridiculous assumption, which is not backed up by anything in the show.
