partial retraction @ who watches this? this is trash. ? (episode 8)

Sooo with episode 8 I partially have to walk back my "critique" of
wandav. @ thread: who watches this? this is trash. ?

I know the general gist of these and DC's superheroes but I don't know
all the intricacies with their parallel universes and whatnot.
I randomly put in some keywords into youtube and watched some
ScreenCrush and Comics Explained (they both seem to agree with
the adaption/continuation). I'll have to admit I had no idea about
Agatha Harkness hence I didn't really know there was some hidden
stuff to look for. In one of comics exp's stream, he asked his audience
to rate the show and the ratings were mostly 8-10/10. so good for you guys.

The first episodes esp. 1-3 seemed, and still do, lazy to me and that
'outside hex-drama' and its acting was very off-putting too. but episode
8 is really good IMHO.

This just goes to show it's really hard to create a show/movie. You
really need to know what demographic you're trying to capture and know
if it will pay off financially @ how much to put into production and set
costs.

I also have to admit it's really hard to enjoy shows these days with so
much drama off-screen surrounding all the various studios but especially
disney.

One gripe I have with episode 8 is harkness' scream at the stake. It was
really underwhelming. Not really something I would be thinking when
reading a comic and seeing in a high production tv show. While I
understand artistic integrity, I don't think that's something you want
to think about in comic book adaptions. They could've helped her there a
little bit.

While I was never attracted to Kathryn Hahn, she's kinda hot in this
one.

"While I was never attracted to Kathryn Hahn, she's kinda hot in this" I think this sums it about up.
