S2E10 - Is there one more season of Picard?

The whole Seasons 2 felt underwhelming as most of it was spent on planet Earth (maybe to save money) in the 21st century to talk about progressive values like helping illegals when they sneak into the US to provide medical needs oh and to save the timeline of course. Where's all the ship on ship action that we used to see in the movies or DS9?

What more is there to be done after they told Jurati the queen that there were more than 2 genders which awoken her subroutine cortex to become the SJW borg and save the galaxy, no more baddies. I was hoping whatever that galactic event was was going to be new enemy that would endanger the Alpha Quadrant but nope, just some new Transwwarp Conduit leading to the unknown. I thought the big ass laser firing from that anomaly was actually from a powerful ship that would then phase right out through the conduit too, opportunity missed.
