Seven of Nine

Rewatching Voyager, it occurred to me does Seven still require regeneration or has her physiology fully adapted? Reason I'm curious is that it seems her nomadic lifestyle is not really conducive to keeping an alcove.

She lives writer to writer

Voyager was her home for many years, so it made sense for the alcove to be there. Once she returned to Earth, no doubt she had to adapt to life without an alcove, as I doubt the Federation would've authorised the use of one. Or at the very least, they helped wean her off the need for an alcove altogether.

Well, to be fair, the only thing about the Picard version of Seven that’s similar to the Voyager version is the actress playing her and perhaps the ocular implant.

Don’t get me wrong I loved seeing Ryan revisit the role but there was nothing to connect the immaculately presented, robotic voiced character from Voyager to the rough and ready vigilante she has become in Picard. I’m not even sure about the amount of time there’s supposed to be between Voyager arriving home and the events in Picard, but I guess it was long enough for Seven’s personality to change completely.
