A remake of Bonnie and Clyde

A remake of Bonnie and Clyde.

In Bonnie and Clyde they robbed banks for money and it was easy to give them a lot of sympathy, and actually root for them.

I think many of the summaries are misleading. I don't think he "man kills the police officer in self-defense" Having seen this opening of the movie I would not say it was deliberate first-degree murder but more second-degree murder, the intentional, unlawful killing of another person, but without any premeditation. Once you saw that it was very hard to feel a lot of sympathy or support and everything followed after that.

It was a black man killing a white policeman. The policeman was way out of line but I don't think he deserved to die. Of course, the couple got a lot of support in the black community. The girl was a defense lawyer and she wasn't any help.

I wouldn't recommend this movie. I just found it offensive.
